Terms & Conditions

Booking & Cancellations Policy

All classes are adhered to the booking and cancellations policy as set out below:

1.1 The Cake Creator reserves the rights for all classes and can if required amend or alter the classes without prior notice.

1.2 Classes are all subject to availability. Spaces will be allocated at the time of booking and the customer will be advised of dates and times if spaces are available and alternative dates will be offered should spaces not be available on the requested times and dates. We also use a reserve listing that will give priority spaces to customers should existing customers cancel or request alternative arrangements.

1.3 All information regarding classes will be available online and it shall remain the responsibility of the student to check dates and times of their booked classes. The Cake Creator will accept no responsibility for lateness or non attendance by the customer.

1.4 All deposits paid for class bookings will be non refundable by The Cake Creator.

1.5 Cancellations of classes need to be made 28 days before commencement. Should a customer cancel their class placement a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted from the remaining refund available to the customer. If a customer cancels less than the required 28 days a 50% cancellation fee will apply and will be deducted from the remaining refund available to the customer. Alternative the student can send an alternative student in place of themselves at no additional loss or cost.

1.6 All cancellations will incur a €5.00 refund charge for administration purposes.

1.7 Please ensure that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the class begins for the consideration of the other students as it will not be possible to revisit previous information and tasks with the allocated times.

Health & Safety

1.8 For health & safety reasons it is advised that suitable footwear (flat shoes, no heels) and suitable clothing be used within the bakery to adhere to HACCP and existing health and safety policies.

1.9 Smoking will not be permitted anywhere in the building for health and safety reasons. An allocated outside area is available for all smokers should there be a requirement.

2.0 Please ensure all jewellery and personal belongings are either left at home or securely stowed away as The Cake Creator accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to either jewelery or personal items.

2.1 The Cake Creator classes are available for people with physical disabilities, However, please advise so at the time of booking to allow for allocation of special requirements.

2.2 No chairs will be available within the bakery section due to health and safety reasons.

2.3 Any pre-existing medical conditions that may cause harm to the student and also other students in the class need to be advised at the time of booking as the Cake Creator can accept no responsibility of these conditions causing injury to yourself (person with medical condition) and others whilst on the premises during the classes.
